El Terri

El Terri

Former coal dump. Currently converted into a peri-urban park for the recreation and leisure of the population.
The Terri Park, a colossal conglomerate of stones, ashes and coal remains, is located at the southern entrance to Puertollano. It is a symbol of the city's mining past and is characterised by the fact that the hill is shaped like a huge smoking dragon resulting from its internal combustion. After two years of work, the Terri Park was inaugurated on 4 June 2010.
